Police appeal to locate girl missing from Lansvale

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from Sydney's west.

Melek Kasim, aged 13, was last seen at an address in Bundarra Street, Lansvale about 12.30pm yesterday (24 January 2024).

Unable to be located or contacted since, officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for Melek's welfare due to her age.

She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of thin build, 150cm tall, with black hair and brown eyes.

She is known to frequent the Auburn and Lansvale areas.

Anyone with information into Melek's whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
