Police appeal to locate man missing from Marrickville

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's Inner West.

Chahine Keirouz, aged 63, was last seen at an address on Cahill Place, Marrickville, about 10am on Friday 4 August 2023.

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Inner West Police Area Command were notified about 4pm today (Sunday 6 August 2023) and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as he lives with dementia.

Chahine is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, and about 180cm tall with thin build and greying short hair; it is not known what he was last wearing.

He is known to frequent the Marrickville and Riverwood areas, and may be using the public transport network.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
