Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Forster 2 March

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state's mid north coast.

Timothy Lester, aged 81, was last seen in Forster about 8am yesterday (Friday 1 March 2024).

When he failed to return and could not be located or contacted, officers from Manning Great Lakes Police District were notified the same day at 10.25pm and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Concerns are held for Timothy's welfare due to him living with dementia and having a number medical issues for which he requires treatment.

Timothy is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander in appearance, about 165cm tall, solid build and short grey hair.

He is believed to be wearing a Rabbitohs football jersey and uses a hearing aid and a purple coloured walking frame.

Timothy is known to frequent the Forester area including shopping centres and bowling greens.

Anyone who may have seen Timothy or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the nearest Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
