Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Punchbowl 16 October

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's west.

Thomas Hong, aged 49, was last seen on James Street, Punchbowl, on Monday (13 October 2025).

When he was unable to be contacted, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police have concerns for his welfare as he lives with a medical condition.

Thomas is described as being of Asian appearance, about 170cm-180cm tall, of medium build, , bald, unshaven, and dark facial hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt, black pants, light brown shoes, and carrying a blue backpack.

He is known to frequent the Bankstown, Campsie and Burwood areas.
