Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Banksia 20 February

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's south.

Normen Banicevic, aged 79, was last seen at Godfrey Street, Banksia, about 4.30pm today (Friday 20 February 2026).

Unable to be located or contacted since, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and his family have concerns for his welfare as he lives with dementia.

Normen is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, with a thin build, and short grey hair.

He was last seen wearing a green striped collared shirt and dark green shorts.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact St George Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 000 333.
