Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Bankstown 20 March

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's southwest.

Thinh Tran, aged 64, was last seen on Hume Highway, Greenacre, between 5.30 and 6.30pm yesterday (Thursday 19 March 2026).

When he was unable to be located, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

There are concerns for Thinh's welfare.

Thinh is described as being of Asian appearance, about 170cm tall, of thin build, with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing grey tracksuit pants, a t-shirt and black shoes.

Thinh is known to frequent the Bankstown, Lakemba and Greenacre areas.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Bankstwon police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
