Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's inner west.
Peter Baumont, aged 71, was last seen at Thames Street, Balmain, about 9am yesterday (Monday 20 April 2026).
When he was unable to be located, officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
There are concerns for Peter's welfare.
Peter is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, of thin build, with thinning grey hair and unshaven.
He is known to frequent the Balmain area.
