Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Katoomba 2 May

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state's Blue Mountains area.

Matthew Slavin, aged 37, was last seen at a hospital on Woodlands Road, Katoomba, about 9.15am today (Saturday 2 May 2026.

Officers attached to Blue Mountains Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for Matthew's welfare.

Matthew is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 185cm tall, of solid build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black jumpsuit and safety boots.

Matthew is believed to frequent the Parkes, Orange, Blue Mountains and Western Sydney areas.
