Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's south.
Shihyao Chiu, also known as Kurt, aged 35, was last seen on Hirst Street, Turrella, about 10.40pm yesterday (Tuesday 30 June 2026).
When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified today (Wednesday 1 July 2026) and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for his welfare.
Shihyao is described as being of Asian appearance, about 165cm to 175cm tall, of thin build, with black hair and black eyes.
He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, dark long pants, white Adidas sneakers and glasses.
Shihyao may be travelling in a white hatchback.
He may have been in the Malabar area about 9am today.
