Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state's south.
Michael Wunsch, aged 61, was last seen on Fretus Avenue, Woonona – about 8km north of Wollongong – about 7.30am on Wednesday 12 August 2026.
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Wollongong Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Michael's welfare.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of medium build, about 175cm tall with dark brown short hair and a beard.
Police believe Michael may be in a white 1998 Ford Falcon station wagon with registration MW127.
Michael is known to frequent the Wollongong area.
