Police appeal to locate man missing from Sydney's west 20 August

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's west.

Salah Tayeh (also known as Sam Taylor) – aged 49 – was last seen at a Westmead medical facility about 9.45am today (Friday 20 August 2021).

Officers from Parramatta Police Area Command were notified a short time later and commenced inquiries to locate Salah.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Salah as he has a medical condition and requires immediate treatment.

Salah is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 175cm tall, with a medium build, black hair, brown eyes and unshaven.

He is known to frequent the Merrylands area.

Anyone who sees Salah is urged not to approach him but to instead call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
