Police appeal to locate man missing from Eastlakes

Police are appealing for community assistance to locate an elderly man missing from Sydney's south.

Vlada Popovic, aged 85, was last seen at his home on Florence Avenue, Eastlakes, about 5pm on Monday (29 November 2021).

He was reported missing to officers from South Sydney Police Area Command after his carer visited and could not locate him.

Police and family hold concern for his welfare due to his age and medical conditions that require treatment.

Vlada is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of thin build, about 183cm tall, with grey hair. He is believed to be wearing a dark jacket and grey pants.

Mr Popovic usually has a walking aid; however, he has left home without it on this occasion.

He is known to walk to the Eastlakes shopping centre on Evans Avenue and the nearby golf course, and frequent the Mascot, Alexandria and Rosebery areas.
