Police appeal to locate man missing from Blacktown 4 February

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a man missing from Sydney's west.

Jeffrey David, aged 42, was last seen at Blacktown Hospital about 8.30am yesterday (Thursday 3 February 2022).

He has not been seen since, and officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Initial inquiries have established that he may have travelled to the Wollongong area, and is known to use the rail network.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Jeffrey's welfare.

Jeffrey is described as being of Indian appearance, about 175cm tall, of large build, brown eyes and long dark hair. He has a tattoo of a bird on his neck and the word 'Slipknot' on his right forearm.

He was wearing a black t-shirt and cargo pants.

Jeffrey is known to frequent the Blacktown and Wollongong areas.
