Police appeal to locate man missing from Sydney's east 2 March

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's east.

Wiremu Leonard Bate, aged 43, was last seen at his unit on Edgecliff Road, Woollahra, on Tuesday 15 February 2022.

Wiremu was reported missing to officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command yesterday (Tuesday 1 March 2022), who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for Wiremu's welfare as he lives with a medical condition which may make him appear disoriented.

Wiremu is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm to 170cm tall, of slim build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He is known to frequent the Bondi Junction and Bondi Beach areas.

Anyone who may have seen Wiremu or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
