Police appeal to locate man missing from Illawarra

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Illawarra.

Nathan Simpson, age 49, was last seen at a home in Oak Flats, about 9pm yesterday (Tuesday 24 January 2023).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare.

Nathan is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 195cm tall, of medium build, with short light brown hair and has a red beard. He was last seen wearing a dark shirt and jeans.

He is believed to be driving a 2002 grey Honda Civic with NSW registration AMY01X.
