Police appeal to locate man missing from Bondi

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's east.

Raphael Teixeira, aged 35, was last seen leaving a home on Jacaranda Avenue, Blaxland, to travel back to his own home on Roscoe Street at Bondi, about midday yesterday (Thursday 16 July 2020).

The man was reported missing to officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command when family were notified that the man never returned to his Bondi residence.

Police and family hold concern for his welfare due to a medical condition that requires treatment, as well as a recent arm injury that may be untreated.

Raphael is described as being of Mediterranean appearance, about 175cm tall, of slim build with dark hair and a dark beard.

He was last seen wearing white denim jeans, a red V-neck jumper, with a dark coloured jacket, black shoes, carrying a black sports bag. He may also be in possession of a bright blue blanket.

Mr Teixeira is known to frequent the Eastern Suburbs and Sydney's CBD, and regularly travels via train.
