Police appeal to locate man missing from Carnes Hill

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's south-west.

Shar-El Shamuel, aged 20, was last seen about 9am yesterday (Friday 27 January 2023) at Edmondson Park train station, boarding a train to Liverpool.

After failing to return home, officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Family and police hold concerns for his welfare due to Shar-El living with a condition that requires treatment.

Shar-El is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 185cm tall, of large build, with black hair and brown eyes.

He is believed to be wearing a black hooded jumper, and is known to frequent the Liverpool, Castle Hill and Parramatta areas.
