Police appeal to locate man missing from Chifley

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's southeast.

Guiseppe Adecer, aged 79, was last seen on Anzac Parade, Chifley, about 3pm yesterday (Friday 2 September 2022).

After failing to return home, officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command commenced inquiries to locate him.

Family and police hold concerns for his welfare due to Guiseppe living with dementia and having limited access to money or a phone.

Guiseppe is described as being of Asian appearance, about 170cm – 180cm tall, of medium build, with black, greying hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans with an orange hooded jumper. Guiseppe also had a white hospital admission bracelet on his wrist.
