Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Erina

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state's Central Coast.

David Platt, aged 67, was last seen on Central Coast Highway, Erina, about 11am today (Friday 2 January 2026).

Officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Family and police hold concerns for David's welfare as he requires regular medication.

David is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of medium build with short grey hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a blue checkered shirt, blue jeans, and a brown straw hat.

David is known to frequent the Wyoming area.
