Police appeal to locate man missing from Fairfield

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Fairfield.

Chea Ren, aged 73, was a patient at Fairfield Hospital and was noticed missing by staff about 7.30am yesterday (Friday 22 May 2020).

Officers from Fairfield Police Area Command were notified after he could not be located, and police conducted an extensive search of the area.

Police and family hold concerns for Mr Ren's welfare due to his age and pre-existing medical conditions for which he is receiving treatment.

He lives in Cabramatta with his family and police believe he is on foot and may still be in the area.

Mr Ren is described as being of Asian appearance, about 160cm tall, with a thin build and was last seen wearing dark coloured tracksuit pants and a navy sports jacket.
