Police appeal to locate man missing from Inner West

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's Inner West.

Barry Lindner, aged 69, was last seen at his unit on The Boulevard, Dulwich Hill, about 6pm on Wednesday (2 February 2022).

Barry was reported missing to officers from Inner West Police Area Command on Friday (4 February 2022), after his belongings were located by a member of the public in Carlton and, when his carers attempted to return them, he could not be located.

Police and family hold concerns for Barry's welfare as he lives with dementia and relies on medication.

Barry is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm to 180cm tall, of slim build, with a grey beard, grey hair, and hazel-coloured eyes.

He was last seen wearing a baggy t-shirt and jeans.

Anyone who may have seen Barry or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Police are also appealing for the man who located Barry's belongings to come forward.
