Police appeal to locate man missing from Lake Illawarra

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing from the Lake Illawarra area.

Wayne Campbell, aged 57, was last seen walking near his home on Churchill Avenue, Warrawong, in August 2022.

Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District were notified last week and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Family and police hold concerns for Wayne's welfare as he lives with a medical condition, as well as the length of time he has been missing.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm-175cm tall with a thin build, ginger hair and ginger-grey facial hair and hazel eyes.

He is known to frequent the Lake Illawarra areas.
