Police are appealing for assistance to locate a man missing from the state's north.
Joshua O'Neill, aged 27, was last seen at Mount Hutton (Lake Macquarie) about 7:30am yesterday (Tuesday 27 May 2025).
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Lake Macquarie Police District were contacted and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Joshua is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, of solid build with light brown hair and a moustache. He also has a tattoo on the outside of his right arm which goes from his elbow to the topside of his hand. Tattoo possibly includes an image of an owl.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare.
He was last wearing a light grey 'Dickies' brand hooded top, dark blue joggers possibly "Nike" or "Adidas" brand.
He is known to frequent the Blacktown, Quorrobolong, Ellalong, Mount Hutton and Newcastle areas.
Joshua is believed to be travelling in a white 2001 Toyota Landcruiser, single cab utility with NSW registration BVS24R.
