Police appeal to locate man missing from state's central west; believed to be in Sydney

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state's central west, who is believed to be in the Sydney CBD area.

Timothy Hicks, aged 54, was last seen at a facility on Forest Road, Bloomfield, on Friday 12 August 2022.

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Central West Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Family and police hold concerns for Timothy's welfare.

Timothy is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 175cm to 180cm tall, of thin build, with blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a blue/grey beanie with a dark cap, black suit jacket, black flannel shirt with a blue t-shirt, and grey pants and navy blue shoes.

Timothy may be in the Haymarket and Sydney CBD areas.
