Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Woy Woy 8 June

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a man missing from the state's north.

John Ainsworth, aged 33, was last seen on Watkin Road, Woy Woy, about 8.30am yesterday (Saturday 7 June 2025).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police hold concerns as his disappearance is out of character.

John is describes as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, medium build, clean shaven, with short black hair and hazel eyes.

He is known to frequent Ettalong Beach, Umina Beach and Woy Woy areas and police believe he may be in the Berowra area.
