Police appeal to locate man missing - Lidcombe

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's south-west.

Gary Sheargold, aged 52, was last seen leaving a care facility on Union Street, Lidcombe, about 6.30pm on Friday 23 June 2023.

When he did not return and could not be located, he was reported missing to officers at Auburn Police Area Command who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for Gary's welfare due to his medical conditions.

Gary is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, of thin build, with brown receding hair and brown eyes.

Gary is known to frequent the Lidcombe area.

Anyone with information into Gary's whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
