Police Appeal To Locate Man With Dementia At Hurstville 25 July

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's south.

Xiaolian Sun, aged 69, was last seen on Forest Road at Hurstville about 2.00pm today (Friday 25 July 2025).

When he did not return home and could not be located, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Xiaolian's welfare as he lives with dementia.

Xiaolian is described as being of Asian appearance, about 155cm tall with slim build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball-style hat, a blue shirt/jumper with orange writing on the front and green tracksuit pants. He was last seen holding his shoes and is possible walking around barefoot.
