Police Appeal To Locate Man With Dementia At Queanbeyan

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing in the state's south.

Jaroslav Brand-Nablier, aged 92, was last seen walking north along Crawford Street, Queanbeyan, about 1.45pm today (Wednesday 15 April 2026).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Monaro Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Jaroslav's welfare due to him living with dementia.

Jaroslav is described as Caucasian appearance, 175cm, slim build, grey hair and beard.

He was last seen wearing a black cap, blue polo shirt, black pants, black shoes, carrying a black shoulder bag and using a walking stick.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to contact Queanbeyan Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
