Police appeal to locate missing elderly man in Randwick

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate an elderly man reported missing from Sydney’s eastern suburbs, NSW Police say.

William (Bill) Noonan, 70, was last seen about 8.40am today (Wednesday 7 February 2018), leaving an aged care home on St Pauls Street, Randwick.

Police were alerted and commenced a search, but officers have not been able to locate him.

Serious concerns are held for Mr Noonan, as he has health concerns and requires full-time care.

William Noonan is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall with a solid build and short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a dark grey-coloured hoodie with "Adidas" in white writing across the front, dark-coloured shorts, and grey slip-on shoes.

William also has a tattoo of a ship on his right forearm and was wearing a silver-coloured medical bracelet on his wrist.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact triple zero (000).

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
