Police appeal to locate missing boy - Dee Why

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a boy missing from the Northern Beaches.

Hayden Planco, aged 12, was last seen at 9am on Wednesday 15 December 2021, when he left his home on Dee Why Parade, Dee Why, to attend school in Cromer.

He was reported missing to police on Thursday 16 December 2021 when he failed to return home and his family had not heard from him.

Officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command commenced an investigation into Hayden's whereabouts.

He is described as being of Asian appearance, between 130cm – 140cm tall, of slim build and was last seen wearing a school uniform with a large black hoodie.

Police have conducted significant inquiries to locate Hayden as they believe he may be staying with friends or associates in the Northern Beaches area.

Hayden is known to frequent Mona Vale Skate Park and Warriewood Square Shopping Centre.

Anyone with information about Hayden's whereabouts is urged to come forward.
