Police appeal to locate missing boy from Central Coast

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from the Central Coast.

Awad Farhan, aged 13, was last seen at a residence on Waldron Road, Kincumber, about 6.50pm on Thursday 12 October 2023.

When he failed to return and could not be contacted, officers from Brisbane Water Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to his age.

He is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 175cm tall, of a thin build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Awad was last seen wearing a black hoodie jumper, black pants, black shoes and black backpack.

He is known to frequent the Strathfield, Granville, Auburn, and Narara areas. He is also known to travel frequently on the Sydney train network.

Anyone with information of his whereabouts is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 immediately.
