Police appeal to locate missing girl from near Port Macquarie

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from the state's north coast.

Rella Gallagher, aged 12, was last seen leaving her home at Wauchope - approximately 20km west of Port Macquarie - about 8.30pm yesterday (Friday 17 June 2022).

When she failed to contact family or friends, she was reported missing to officers from the Mid North Coast Police District who commenced an investigation into her whereabouts.

Family and police hold serious concerns for Rella due to her young age.

Rella is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 160cm, thin build and dark blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a grey Everlast hooded jumper and dark coloured track pants.

Rella may frequent the Wauchope, Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour areas.
