Police appeal to locate missing man - Bankstown PAC 17 February

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Birrong area.

Malae Fifita, aged 36, was last seen on Neutral Avenue, Birrong, about 7.30am on Wednesday (14 February 2024).

When he could not be located or contacted, police were notified and officers from Bankstown Police Area Command commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Malae's welfare due to medical concerns and him acting out of character.

He is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 175cm tall, of a large build, brown eyes, black hair and a tattoo on his upper right arm.

Malae was last seen wearing a green shirt and navy-blue pants.

He is known to frequent the Bankstown, Birrong, Berala and Regents Park areas.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to contact Bankstown police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
