Police appeal to locate missing man - Burwood LAC

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's Inner West.

Matthew Tremain, aged 62, was last seen in Summer Hill, about 5am yesterday (Saturday 29 July 2023).

When he failed to return and was unable to be contacted, officers from Burwood Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Matthew's welfare as he lives with a medical condition.

Matthew is described as Caucasian appearance, 175cm tall, medium build and short grey hair.

It is not known what Matthew is wearing.

Inquires have established that Matthew may have been in the vicinity of Town Hall Railway Station in the Sydney CBD about 2am today (Sunday 30 July 2023).

Anyone with information of his whereabouts is urged to contact Burwood Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
