Police appeal to locate missing man - Concord 21 March

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from inner Sydney.

Tarek Fayek, aged 49, was last seen on Hospital Road, Concord, about 1pm on Thursday 2 March 2023.

At the time, he was wearing a beige t-shirt, dark pants and sneakers.

He was reported missing to officers from Burwood Police Area Command, who have commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police are concerned for his welfare due to medical conditions that require treatment.

Tarek is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 165cm tall, of thin build with black hair and brown eyes. It is believed he no longer has a beard.

He is known to frequent the areas of Bankstown, Ashfield and Woolloomooloo.

Anyone who may have seen Tarek or has information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact Burwood Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
