Police appeal to locate missing man from Burwood

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's inner west.

Diego Benigni Martinez, aged 35, was last seen on Luke Avenue, Burwood, in June of this year (2022).

When he could not be contacted by family or friends officers from Burwood Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Inquiries have established that he had a phone conversation with a person known to him on Friday 2 September 2022.

Family and Police hold concerns for his welfare due to him living with a number of health conditions.

He is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, thin build and having a black beard with moustache.

It is now known what Diego maybe wearing.

He is known to frequent the Burwood, Bankstown, Redfern, Blacktown and Sydney CBD areas.

Anyone who may have seen Diego or who may know of his whereabouts is urged to contact Burwood Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
