Police appeal to locate missing man from New England region

Officers from New England Police District are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Moree area.

Gordon Copeland, aged 22, was last seen near the Gwydir River, Yarraman, on Saturday 10 July 2021.

Police and Gordon's family have serious concerns for his welfare.

He is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 160cm to 165cm tall, of slim build, with black hair and brown eyes, and a beard and moustache.

Gordon was last seen wearing a grey 'Gant' hooded jumper, a gold and brown Louis Vuitton cap, black Adidas track pants. He was carrying a black Lacoste bag.

As inquiries continue, officers from New England Police District are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers.
