Police appeal to locate missing man near Chippendale

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from near Sydney's CBD.

Michael Andrews, aged 63, was last seen on Tuesday morning (14 November 2023) at Vine Street, Darlington.

When he was unable to be located, officers from South Sydney Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

There are serious concerns for Michael's welfare due to a number of medical conditions.

Michael is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 150cm to 160cm tall, of a thin build, with grey hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a red shirt and jeans.

It's believed he may have been in the Chippendale area about 1pm yesterday afternoon (Sunday 19 November 2023) and travelled on a public bus route number '428' towards Canterbury.

Anyone with information into Michael's whereabouts or who may see him is urged to contact police
