Police Appeal To Locate Missing Man - North Parramatta

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing in Sydney's west.

Chongho Pyon, aged 77, was last seen on Castle Street, North Parramatta, about 4pm last Sunday (20 April 2025).

When he could not be located and concerns were raised for his welfare, officers attached to Parramatta Police Area Command were notified today (Sunday 27 April 2025) and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare, as he lives with short-term memory loss and other medical conditions.

Chongho is described as being of Asian appearance, about 165cm tall with a slim build and grey hair.

He was last seen wearing a navy-coloured cardigan, dark-coloured pants and black shoes.

He is known to frequent the local area around North Parramatta.
