Local organisations, businesses and community groups can now apply to become a stallholder at Council's Bushfire and Community Safety Expo.
Held on Sunday 18 October 2026 at Alistair Knox Park in Eltham, the expo is a free, family-friendly event designed to help residents prepare for emergencies, stay informed, and build safer, more resilient communities.
The Shire-wide initiative brings together residents, emergency services, government agencies, community organisations and local businesses to provide practical advice, resources and support on a range of community safety topics.
It also offers a valuable opportunity for stallholders to connect with a broad local audience, showcase their expertise in community and bushfire safety and preparedness, and promote their services to an engaged and relevant audience.
By taking part, exhibitors support a vital annual event that fosters long-term safety education and strengthens partnerships across Nillumbik.
Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for stallholders are now open and will close on Sunday 13 September. Please note: an EOI does not guarantee you a stall on the day. Successful stallholders will be informed soon after the EOI close date.
Stallholders with a focus on community safety, bushfire preparedness, emergency management or community wellbeing are encouraged to apply, along with food vendors and local businesses who can contribute to the family-friendly atmosphere on the day.
There is no cost for a stall.
