Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman last seen in the Wollongong area.
Alycia Macqueen, aged 28, was last seen entering the water on McCauley's Beach, near Corbett Avenue, Thirroul, about 7.30pm Saturday (1 November 2025).
When she failed to resurface and could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Wollongong Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Family and police hold concerns for Alyica's welfare as her disappearance is out of character.
Alycia is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of medium build, with dark long hair.
She was last seen wearing a wetsuit.
Police are urging local surfers and swimmers to be alert along the beach and to contact Wollongong Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 if they see Alycia or have information on her location.
