Police appeal to locate missing teen - Leichhardt

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's Inner West.

Mariah Keegan, aged 15, was last seen at leaving a home in Leichhardt about 2pm on Saturday (6 January 2024).

When she failed to return and could not be contacted, officers from Leichhardt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for Mariah's welfare due to her age.

Mariah is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 160cm tall, of slim build, with long brown hair and brown eyes.

She is known to frequent the Marrickville, Lillyfield and Canada Bay areas.

Anyone who may have seen Mariah or has information of her whereabouts is urged to contact Leichhardt Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
