Police appeal to locate missing teen - North Parramatta

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a teenage girl missing from North Parramatta.

Helana Carroll, aged 13, was last seen at her home on O'Connell Street about 6pm Saturday (12 October 2019).

Officers from Parramatta Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Family and police hold concerns for her welfare.

Helana is described as being of Torres Strait Islander appearance, 160-165cms tall, with a thin, athletic build, brown eyes and shoulder length curly brown hair. She was last seen wearing a "Fila" red/white hooded jumper, faded blue ripped jeans, white joggers and black side bag.

Helana is known to frequent Parramatta Centenary Square.
