Police appeal to locate missing teen - state's South

Police are urgently appealing for public assistance to locate a teen missing from the state's southern region.

Letiescha Gold, aged 16, was last seen at Shellharbour Road, near Barrack Point Road, in Barrack Heights, south of Wollongong, about 8am today (Sunday 3 November 2019).

Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District were notified and are conducting a search of the area.

Family and police hold concerns for her welfare due to her being on the autism spectrum.

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate Letiescha who is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with a medium build, about 165cm tall, with dark brown shoulder length hair and glasses. She was last seen wearing a Blue nightie.

Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District urge anyone who sees Letiescha to contact police immediately.
