Police appeal to locate missing teenager from Sydney's South West

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenager missing from Sydney's South West.

Muhammad Idrees, aged 15, was last seen at a home on King Georges Road, Wiley Park, about 1.30am today (Sunday 1 January 2023).

When he could not be located, officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to his young age.

Muhammad is described as being of Indian sub-continental appearance, and about 180cm tall with medium build.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue GANT brand hooded jumper with red undershirt, two-tones blue colour trackpants, and white and light blue Nike sneakers.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
