Police appeal to locate missing woman - Bankstown PAC

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney's south-west.

Julie Charles, aged 54, was last seen in Padstow about 1.30pm last Friday (25 August 2023).

When she was unable to be contacted or located, officers from Bankstown Police Area Command were notified at 8pm on Sunday (27 August 2023) and immediately commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Julie's welfare due to her living with a number of health conditions.

Julie is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, 160cm, solid build and has long brown hair.

It is not known what clothing Julie is wearing.

Julie is known to frequent the Padstow, Parramatta, St George and Sydney CBD areas.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Bankstown Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
