Police Appeal To Locate Missing Woman From Botany

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from South Sydney.

Denise Harry, aged 71, was last seen at nursing home on Edgehill Avenue, Botany, about 12pm yesterday (Wednesday 25 February 2026).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to South Sydney Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for her welfare as she lives with a condition that requires medication.

Denise is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm to 155cm tall, of slim build, with short brown hair.

She was last seen wearing white sneakers, black tracksuit pants, a purple long-sleeved jumper and carrying a black handbag.

Denise is known to frequent the Botany, Mascot, Central Station and Sydney CBD areas.
