Police appeal to locate missing woman in Blacktown

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a woman missing from Blacktown since last night, NSW Police say.

About 9pm yesterday, 50-year-old Rosslyn Burnie was last seen leaving her home on Coolabah Place.

When she failed to return, Ms Burnie’s family contacted officers from Blacktown Local Area Command who commenced searching for her; however Ms Burnie has not been seen or heard from since.

Concerns are held for her welfare.

Ms Burnie is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall, of medium build, with shoulder-length blonde hair with a thick fringe and light-coloured eyes.

She was last seen wearing dark-blue jeans and a dark-coloured jumper with a brown vest over the top.

Anyone who knows of Ms Burnie’s whereabouts is urged to contact local police via Crime Stopers.
