Police appeal to locate teen girl missing from Doonside

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from the Blacktown area.

Anika Ngawake, aged 14, was last seen near Adelphi Crescent, Doonside, about 8:00am on Wednesday 24 May 2023.

She was reported missing to officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command, who commenced an investigation into her whereabouts.

Concerns are held for Anika's welfare due to her age and her disappearance being out of character.

Anika is described as being of Pacific Islander appearance, about 180-190cm tall, of medium build, with shoulder-length black hair, and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing black puffer jacket white shirt and white sweat pants.

Police believe she may be in the Blacktown or Mount Druitt areas.

Anyone who may have information about Anika's whereabouts is urged to contact Blacktown Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
