Police appeal to locate teen last seen in Sydney's south

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy who was last seen in Sydney's south.

Kostantinos Diakostergos, aged 17, was last seen at Hurstville Railway Station about 4pm last Thursday (21 December 2023) but spoke with a family member by phone yesterday (Saturday 23 December 2023).

When no further contact with Kostantinos could be made, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Family and police hold serious concerns for Kostantinos' welfare due to his age.

He is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 180cm tall, thin build with brown hair and eyes and a crown tattoo with the word king on his left hand.

At the time Kostantinos was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper, black tracksuit pants and a green cap.

He is known to frequent the Surry Hills, Sydney CBD, Hurstville and Rockdale areas.

Anyone with information into Kostantinos' whereabouts is urged to contact Kogarah Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
